A day late and a dollar short? Actually, I am about 1.5 months behind on many of my blogging and email responsibilities. So the fact that the Weekly Round-up is appearing on a Monday is not a really big deal. It’s a holiday weekend, after all. Which reminds me, happy Independence Day. There. I said it. Be still my bulk buying heart. in.gredients is the first packaging free grocery shop to open in America. At least it will be when it's doors fling open this fall. Where? Austin, of course...birthplace of Whole Foods. This store sounds like my fantasy land. Did I mention that here in Florida it is almost impossible to buy 3 zucchinis without also buying foam packaging and plastic wrap? Scary true.
Today may be a national holiday in the states but everyone everywhere can join in tomorrow for the Pie Party! I still haven't decided if I'm going for blueberry or pumpkin--we had a rouge squash fruit in our garden! Do RSVP and save me a slice!
There's a new vegan in town--the website Robot Vegan. Is it any good? Too early to tell. Will they ever get their own domain name? Not sure. Give it a look and tell me what you think.
I've been looking for a desktop app to effect pics like a Hipstamatic. Found a few. This Toycamera one is my favorite. And the price is right @ $13.99. Love it!
